I grew up in Germany and spent a few years as a missionary kid in Africa. I ended up at Moody Bible Institute where I met my husband. We have been married 17 years now and live in the suburbs of Chicago with our 2 boys (15, 9) and 2 girls (18,11). Grandma and Grandpa live with us, as well as, a few little guinea pigs and our Pitt/Australian Shepherd dog Lucy(Fur).

I love theology and have a passion to help women take their walk with God to a deeper level.

When I have a few minutes of free time I like to read some of the puritans classics like John Bunyan and Thomas Watson as well as anything about Egypt. I secretly want to be Amelia Peabody.

As of this summer I have acquired an addiction to sweet tea and horchata.
